The Ethics of Obstruction: A Conversation about The Five Obstructions by Joshua Abboud

A conversation between Victor Vitanza and Joshua Abboud about the film The Five Obstructions (2003) by Lars von Trier and Jorgen Leth. They discuss how the film performs a pedagogical model based on using obstructions to remake assignments. The video continues the work of the film by presenting another version of Leth's film "The Perfect Human"and examines how this can be a hueristic for teaching compositional invention and ethical response.
