A Special Issue on Audiovisual Thinking: Fun, Fast, Foundational – NordiCHI 2014
Editors: Lily Díaz-Kommonen and Sanna Marttila
This special issue on Audiovisual Thinking highlights the academic videos from the NordiCHI 2014 conference’s video track. We welcome submissions that address designing for positive experiences (such as fun), user-centered design in fast-paced agile development, as well as foundational theories and in-depth insights into the topics of the conference.
The videos can contain presentations of research prototypes, future innovations or user studies. Video submissions should focus on topics of interest to Human Computer Interaction (HCI) researchers in relation to the conference theme.
For NordiCHI 2014, we would like to place a special call for works that highlight the use of video as a tool for creative communication. We are interested in showcasing the medium as a tool of creative expression that enables both creativity and precision in communication. In this manner we welcome video works that illustrate narratives pertaining to research, video as data source, as well as video used to depict ongoing experimental techniques such as simulations, or to document complex and lengthy research processes.
This call is now CLOSED.
